The Traveling Scriptorium contains a set of bookbinding models (seen below) representing different Medieval and Early Modern binding styles. Each model is based on a specific binding from the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.
The kit also includes leather and parchment samples and a PDF booklet of terms, materials, methods, and images of the original bindings on which these models were based.
